The “Macao Youth Innovation and Enterpreneurship Competition” successfully combines Macau’s two major previous entrepreneurship competitions—the “Parafuturo de Macao” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (see the 2018–2020 competitions below) and the “Macao Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition”—to create an innovation and entrepreneurship competition with greater influence, broader coverage, more direct pathways to success, and a larger scale. Aligned with the development policies of both the nation and Macao, the competition continues to invigorate Macao’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. It aims to attract outstanding science and technology enterprises and young entrepreneurial talent to establish themselves in Macao, promote technological innovation and the commercialization of research outcomes, foster the integration of industry, academia, research, finance, and application, and empower the moderate diversification of Macao’s economy.
